Take It To The Bank

"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." Psalm 89:34

So many times in life, we are left disappointed at something that has been committed to us that didn't come to pass. We've had jobs, hopes, dreams, and ambitions crumble before us leaving us in shambles to watch them fade away. However, with all the hurt, heartache, and problems that we face, never once has God failed us or even let us down. While we may not always understand His will, we know that we can always trust in His hands.

Often we are afraid of trusting things lock, stock, and barrel, but with God, we shouldn't have that fear. In this passage, the Psalmist is describing how God may have been angry with Israel during seasons, but overall, He has always stood by His word and His promise to make them a great nation. God will never back down on that promise just like He will never back down on us. When God says it, you can take it to the bank!
